(TIAN YI WU FENG): Perfect; a seamless heavenly robe; flawless; without a trace, invulnerable.
故事英譯:“Sky Clothes” means that the clothes are dressed up by the gods in the heaven; “Seamless” means that the gods get dressed clothes are different with the human beings, no seams in the whole clothes.
It was said that in ancient times, there was a guy named Guo Han, who one day in summer, because of being too warm inside his bed room to lie asleep, so he moved to his open yard for sleeping. When he was just lying down supinely he gazed at the sky, suddenly he saw a white dressed up girl floating down slowly from the sky. The fairy said to Guo Han, “I’m a weaving fairy from heaven.” Guo Han looked at the white-dressed girl amazingly and found that her clothes were seamless totally. Guo Han was surprised at her seamless clothes, and asked, “Why does your dress have no seams?” The weaving girl answered, “The fairies’ clothes in heaven originally are not made with needles and threads of course there are no seams.”
This story should be fictional or a folk legend, but it had been become a useful and wide spread term when it is used as an idiom.
