(BU KE JIU YAO):incorrigible; incurable; beyond cure; beyond redemption; hopelessly; no way to rescue.
King Li of Zhou Dynasty was a cruel and corruptive tyrant leading an obscene life, who was not only cursed by people but many of his ministers were also disappointed to him. Among them there was an official named Fan Bo, thought that what King Li had done was violating humanity, so he presented his admonition to King Li. However his remonstration was satirized by those evil bureaucrats who just knew how to bribe their superiors and help the cruel monarch to be more abusive. Then, Fan Bo wrote a poem “Ban--a board” for satirizing King Li of Zhou. In the meantime, he warned those bureaucrats who were helping a tyrant to do evil things, said, “Although I’m old, but my saying is not nonsense. Why do you make fun of me? He did too many cruel and evil affairs that he has been incorrigible. As a result, King Li of Zhou who refused to listen ministers’ admonition, was expelled into exile by his subjects.
