「心動視界」Inspired by Vision：
視界，視覺的世界，是眼睛所見的世界。由眼睛所見的，而觸動了心靈的一種感受，心動視界，是我們這次展覽的主題。在觀察之中，如能見到那平常不易見到的，如能敞開心胸感受到那眼睛見不到的，是更深一層的藝術了！
透過攝影機，我們試圖將眼睛所見的美、心靈所感受的美，呈現在攝影作品中；我們試圖將我們的心靈體驗，經由攝影作品與觀眾溝通；我們希望在攝影作品中流動著詩意，得到觀眾的共鳴。
學會介紹：
北德州亞裔攝影學會 (North Texas Asian Photographers\\\' Association, NTAPA)成立於2003年﹐由一群熱愛攝影的同好所組成。會員中有專業攝影師﹐也不乏對攝影有深入研究﹐和不斷攻研攝影技術的會員。會員中多位擁有最先進的數位攝影器材﹐配合精進的技術﹐許多作品具有專業的藝術水準。
攝影學會的「藝廊委員會」(Art Gallery Committee) ﹐由會中資深而且攝影技術精湛的會員擔任委員。藝廊委員會審核會員提出的作品﹐合格的作品將收錄在攝影學會的藝廊﹐並在學會的網頁上公佈。這兩年來﹐攝影學會展覽的作品﹐均是由藝廊委員會審核通過的作品。
北德州亞裔攝影學會是個攝影愛好者交流的平臺，熱誠歡迎有興趣的朋友加入，互相幫助共同切磋一起進步。學會於每月第二個星期二晚上開會，第四個星期二晚上執行攝影比賽和訓練課程。邀請有專精的攝影師演講和指導﹐介紹其作品﹑闡述攝影理念﹑指導攝影技術。攝影學會鼓勵會員提供作品﹐在會議中以不記名方式討論﹐由藝廊委員作評論和建議。
會員不定時出外攝影﹐也經常舉辦人像攝影聚會﹐捕捉大自然的景色﹑生活周遭的情緻以及人物之美。作品每年在幾個大型展覽廳展出﹐如 Garland Granville Arts Center﹐Richardson Eisemann Center﹐Irving Arts Center﹐華人活動中心等等。
Vision is the art of seeing the invisible. It is not just "seeing" or “sight”, instead, it is an insight. It is the ability to see something that only you can see with your mind, something that others do not see because this something does not have a physical reality. This something only exists in your imagination, something that is within yourself. A vision is an idea or a concept. It can be made real through the creation of photographs that expresses this vision. In essence, it is making poetry through photographs. It goes beyond the technical knowledge of the camera and reaches the artistic level. It goes beyond mastery of the camera and reaches improvisation and self-expression. The goal of these photographs is then to express, communicate, and share these ideas with the audience.
The members in North Texas Asian Photographers\\\' Association (NTAPA) strive to be inspired by vision. The members attends events in town for capturing the moments to be memorized, visits local parks and national parks for the beauty of the nature, and focuses on every detail that can possibly be a subject of an artwork. The members strive for a goal to reach out for inspiration by great ideas, great vision and great workmanship.
